TAB Fundamentals

Schedule: 7:30 am – 5:00 pm

This course combines classroom learning with practical experience to build a strong foundation in testing and balancing HVAC systems. Students study core topics such as thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, psychrometrics, electricity, and system safety, while also gaining a working understanding of TAB calculations and HVAC equipment.

Through hands-on exercises and daily problem-solving challenges, students develop critical technical and analytical skills. Experienced EAB instructors guide students in using professional instruments, conducting duct traverses, performing system measurements, adjusting components, and interpreting system performance data to prepare them for real-world TAB work.
